Today we saw the pediatrician for Rachel's one year check-up. She weighed 20 pounds, 8 ounces and was 29 1/4 inches long. She can start drinking whole milk and eating eggs.
Hard to believe one year ago she was only 5 pounds, 6 ounces and was 18 1/4 inches long.
What a year it's been - starting day care, her baptism, first Halloween, first Thanksgiving, first Christmas, first wedding (cousin Kendra), and the first official Mother's Day and Father's Day for David and I.
Next check-up - October 16th when Rachel is 15-months old. We were given the ultimatum - Rachel needs to be walking by then, so we will be working on that. Stay tuned...
